BURSAR’S DEPARTMENT RECEIVES UPSI QUALITY AWARD

The 2008 Excellent Services Award and Quality Award ceremony were held on 6^th November 2009 at the UPSI Main Auditorium. It was launched by the Vice Chancellor of UPSI, the Honourable Prof. Dato’ Dr. Aminah Ayob and the Bursar’s Department was awarded as the recipient for The Best Responsibility Centre Award in the Implementation of MS ISO 9001:2008 (Support Process Category). This award was presented as to confer recognition to the Responsibility Center which had excellently implemented MS ISO 9001:2008 without any Non-Compliance Requirement (NCR) throughout the auditing conducted by the ISO Internal Auditors and SIRIM Auditors.

This honourship that conferred by the University has strengthened the determination of the Bursar’s Department in its effort to achieve the MS ISO 9001:2008 Certification for the overall working process at the Bursar’s Department by 2010. The planning and actions being implemented by the Bursar’s Department staff to achieve the university’s aspiration and we hope that the implementation will be utilised by March 2010.
