Assalamualaikum warohmatullahi wabarokatuh, greetings and welcome to the official website of the UPSI Bursar’s Department. This website is one of the mediums of communication between the Bursar’s Department and all our respective clients.
The purpose of this website is to serve as a medium of reference for clients on financial services provided by the UPSI Bursar’s Department. This is in line with the Bursar’s Department’s vision to be the leading financial management of the University as well as to provide the best financial and accounting services in realizing the Vision and Mission of the University.
The Bursar’s Department provides financial services for customers comprising staff, students, and suppliers. We are committed to being an excellent department in the administration and financial management of the University on a continuous and quality basis to meet customer satisfaction.
In line with the latest development of information and communication technology, the staff of the Bursar’s Department also have high competency in doing work related to ICT development. As evidence, this website is developed utilizing the internal expertise of the staff of the Bursar’s Department. For your information, the Bursar’s Department has been the Champion of the UPSI Website Competition in 2002, 2003 and 2007.
The Bursar’s Department has introduced many innovations by implementing online financial management through the MyFIS Financial System covering the entire financial process. As a result, the Bursar’s Department has been crowned with various awards and recognitions from various parties. The Bursar’s Department has won the Public Sector Innovation Award 2014 for the Financial Management Innovation Award category for MyFIS Financial System innovation. This is the most meaningful recognition received by the UPSI Bursar’s Department. The latest MyFIS Financial System has been upgraded using PHP (hypertext preprocessor) open source software platform and this system has been adopted since 16 January 2020. Many new improvements and innovations have also been introduced in the new financial system known as MyFis Neo.
The Bursar’s Department will continue to strive to provide the best service to customers and introduce more innovations to facilitate their affairs. We look forward to useful feedback from our customers on the services provided. You can provide feedback on the quality of our services online at the Complaints/Suggestions menu on this website. The input provided will be taken into account to improve our services.
